Dr. Turnage earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University in 2020, where she focused her studies on Animal Behavior and Neurobiology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University, where she completed a specialized Exotic Animal and Zoological Medicine Veterinary Certificate. Dr. Turnage has a special interest in exotic animal care, behavioral medicine, and dental health, and she is dedicated to enhancing the daily welfare of all patients through comprehensive, compassionate care. At home, she and her husband care for a diverse family of pets, including a ball python, a blue-tongued skink, and two cats, Cassimir and Dale, who love to snuggle, steal food, and watch the squirrels and birds in the backyard. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Turnage enjoys performing in her choir and karaoke nights, playing board games, researching true crime cases, and traveling to explore natural landscapes
