Julie A. Cappel, D.V.M.

Dr. Cappel graduated from the Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dr. Cappel's love for animals now focuses on small animals with her special interest being in avian (bird) medicine. She joined Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital in 1991 and became the practice owner in 1997. Dr. Cappel serves as a council member for the Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and served as their president in 2006. She is also currently on the board of the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Cappel is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians as well as a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of managing the Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital practice, she loves spending time with her children, and is an active member of the Stevenson Band Boosters. Dr. Cappel also enjoys dance class. She has three cats and one bird and also works with rescue dogs and cats at the hospital. |

Jennifer Khalifah, D.V.M.

Dr. Khalifah graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 1997. She started at Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital in December 2000 as an associate veterinarian. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association. She is also currently a council member for the S.E.M.V.M.A. |

Therese Hagewood, D.V.M

Dr Hagewood is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Bachelors of Science in biology and biochemistry from Purdue University. She has been doing relief work for Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital since 2001. She has a special interest in pocket pets and soft tissue surgery. She has been an active member of Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association since 1990. She loves sports, camping and hiking. Her husband is also a veterinarian and they have been married since 1987. Their family also includes of two teenage daughters and three dogs. |

Jillian Glover, D.V.M

Dr. Glover graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 after earning a Bachelors in biology from Kalamazoo College. While in Veterinary school, she served as the president of the college's Zoo, Exotics and Wildlife Club and the MSU CVM Canine Club. Dr. Glover has a passion for advancing medicine for pocket pets, birds and reptiles. Her participation in canine performance events has led her to develop a special interest in canine fitness, orthopedics and behavioral health. She is a member of AVMA, MVMA and SEMVMA. During her free time she enjoys training her dogs in agility and obedience, hiking, gardening and spending time at her family's house in Fennville on Lake Michigan. She currently shares her home with two shelties Duckie and Jeremy, two cats, a chinchilla, a blue tongue skink (lizard) and a small "herd" of guinea pigs. |
