Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital takes pride in caring for not only your pets, but also for pets who need a home. Occasionally, there are situations where a pet gets left at our doorstep, or an owner is simply not able to keep a pet due to some unforeseen circumstance. In these unfortunate situations, we take advantage of our relationships with existing clients, friends, family and this Web site, and we make every attempt to find these pets a loving home.
Listed below are some pets that need a home. If you happen to be interested and believe that you can provide a loving and caring environment for one or more of our pet friends, please call our office at 586-751-3350. One of our knowledgable staff members will be able to answer your questions.
This beautiful, dilute tortoiseshell, domestic long hair female is spayed and up to date on her vaccines for the year. She was turned in because she may have been urinating outside of her litter box. While here at the hospital she has had tests done on her urine and she may have crystal formation in her urine. She is on a special diet, and since coming to us has lost some weight, which is a good thing! She has been using her litter box here with no problems. She was overweight, and had matted fur on her abdomen, which may have been contributing to her difficulty in using her litter box. Cats can be finicky, and some will not use a litter box if it is not big enough, if it is not cleaned daily, or if it is in an area of the home that is too noisy or difficult for her to get to. Cats prefer a large litter box in a quiet area, and it MUST be scooped daily! If you are unable to scoop a litter box daily, having a second litter box is advisable.

| These Domestic short hair females were born March 10, 2008. They have started their vaccination series and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. Their FeLV/FIV test was negative, and their first stool sample was negative.
They are very social, playful and friendly, and would love a home with other cats and would get used to friendly dogs. They also love attention and purr when they are held. |

| This beautiful long haired grey cat was found in the street after being injured, a good Samaritan found her and brought her to us for foster care and adoption. We are estimating her age at about a year and a half. She was spayed previously and had her left rear leg amputated some time ago. She has fully healed and gets around very well. Brie is very playful and loves people. She loves to play with her toys, and would like to find a home of her own. She would get used to other cats or friendly dogs. | |||
